Dressing:
1/2 cup vegetable oil or light olive oil 1/4 cup red wine vinegar 1/4 cup sugar 1 teaspoon poppy seeds 1 teaspoon dried mustard 1 teaspoon salt
Combine ingredients into shaker or jar with tight lid. Shake well and let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. Shake again before drizzlubg on salad.
Salad:
Lettuce mix (not iceberg) Diced apple (honeycrisp is nice) Crisp bacon crumbled Diced red onion Craisins Pecan pieces or dry roasted sunflower seeds
