Bikew is a former warrior of Dark Templars. He absolutely loved banana bread and pretty much every day during raid, someone would ask Bikew if he was eating banana bread in Ventrilo, and everytime asked, his reply was simply "you bet!".
Bikew passed away on May 15, 2010. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. This is his banana bread recipe that he posted on the Dark Templars forum. R.I.P. Bikew, one of the kindest souls one could ever have met.
1/2 cup butter or Margarine
3 tablespoons of water or milk
1 cup sugar
2 cups of flour
2 eggs
1 tsp soda
4 small very ripe bananas, mashed (about 2 cups)
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 tsp vanilla (optional)
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add water, vanilla and bananas. Thoroughly mix in flour, soda and nuts.
Pour into greased and floured "Bread 'n bake" * and cover, Bake in covered crock pot on high 2-3 hours or until done.
*if no "bread 'n bake" can use a greased and floured 2lb coffee can. cover can with 5-6 paper towels and place in crock pot.
