When we make reuben sandwiches, instead of buying thousand island dressing, I make this recipe. It's better than store bought stuff.
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 Tablespoons ketchup
1 Tablespoon vinegar
2 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons sweet pickle relish
1 teaspoon minced onion
1/8 teaspoon salt
dash black pepper
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Chill for several hours before serving.
